The Duisenberg school of finance is proud to announce two brand new specialized Msc programmes and a full blown PhD track starting September 2008.

The financial sector and universities in The Netherlands have taken the joint initiative to establish a number of high profile programmes in finance at the MSc, MPhil, and PhD level. Duisenberg provides top-training and research in the different areas of finance to a group of talented and motivated students and professionals. The programmes are internationally competitive and challenge students to profit from the exposure to international experts and to cooperate with a select group of motivated fellow students to promote their future career and network.

As the aim of our programmes is to prepare students for the future as leaders in the world of finance, our graduates should have no trouble in finding attractive employment opportunities. Duisenberg school of finance officially opened

Amsterdam, 15th September 2008 – Chairman of the Board, Mr Joseph Streppel, today opened the Duisenberg school of finance at a grand opening in the Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam. Duisenberg school of finance is a specialised, international, financial education and research institute and the only financial top education in Europe that bridges theory and practice. The school offers an important contribution to strengthening the financial image of the Netherlands.

In his opening speech, Mr Joseph Streppel referred to the unique background of the school: “ Duisenberg school of finance caters to the need for financial top talent by creating long term, symbiotic relations between the academic world and practice. read more >
