Dr. Mia de Kuijper
Dean External Relations and Executive Education

Mia de Kuijper is a strategist, experienced corporate executive, banker and economist. She is an authority on corporate strategy, finance, and international business development. Dr. de Kuijper has held senior positions on Wall Street at CSFirst Boston, Morgan Stanley and Bear Stearns, and in corporate roles at Royal Dutch Shell, AT&T, and PepsiCo. She has been a strategy consultant at Bain & Co., and is a founding member of the Global Business Network. Raised in The Netherlands, Mia de Kuijper has received a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University and a BA. from Duke University.
Currently, Mia de Kuijper is the CEO of the strategy advisory firm de Kuijper Global Partners, based in New York, and Dean of Executive Education and External Relations at the Duisenberg school of finance in Amsterdam.

Her book, Profit Power Economics, A New Competitive Strategy for Creating Sustainable Wealth (Oxford University Press, October 2009), is the first comprehensive manual on corporate strategy for our age of instantaneous connectivity and ubiquitous information in which the familiar principles of mainstream economics no longer hold. This book offers new concepts for market dynamics, risk, competition and business models, as well as a new approach to corporate strategy and investing.
